• Clothing: Wear comfortable clothing like yoga attire or sweatpants

Contraindications for Breathwork:
Breathwork is not recommended if you:

Are pregnant (at any stage)

Have uncontrolled high blood pressure

Suffer from a detached retina or glaucoma

Have cardiovascular issues such as angina, a previous heart attack, or stroke

Have severe asthma (mild to moderate asthma can be discussed—please bring your inhaler)

Have been diagnosed with an aneurysm

Have kidney disease

Have epilepsy or a history of seizures

Are taking medications that affect brain function (e.g., anti-anxiety meds, antidepressants, ADD or OCD medication)

Are actively using recreational drugs

Have recently undergone surgery, have stitches, or sustained injuries

Have uncontrolled thyroid conditions

Have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or other psychiatric conditions

Have been hospitalized for a psychiatric condition or emotional crisis in the last 10 years

Suffer from severe psychosomatic conditions

Have severe PTSD or trauma (this should always be discussed beforehand for appropriate adjustments)
